How is working at Target Backroom team member position? Ok I just had a phone interview for a Backroom team member position at Target. A backroom team member consists of Keep merchandise organized and accessible. Work as part of a fast, fun and friendly Backroom team. Maintain a clean, great-looking store. Quickly and accurately respond to merchandise requests. As I was on the phone interview she also told me that everyone is trained on the cashier and I may be asked to work cashier. I'm not really good with money that was the point in me filling out for the backroom in the first place. I mean I know how to count, but lets just say it will be best for everyone for me to stay away from a cashier... She said the job is up to 40 hours a week. So my QUESTIONS is am I only going to be doing backroom stuff and when I finish they might put me on the cashier? OR will they like schedule A WHOLE DAY ON THE CASHIER WHEN NOTHING NEEDS TO BE DONE IN THE BACK? BECAUSE I KNOW A TRUCK DOESN'T COME EVERYDAY THAT AS TO BE UNLOADED AND STOCKED! I really don't want to be on a cashier should I tell them as well if hired?
